Hi @bertus I have a similar situation: just like in your case I can see that rounding works correctly only for the first element, additionally in my case on a path made of lines where I am testing this every second line is skipped. The interpolator jumps to every second iActObjectSourceNo.

Ok, I think I understand. The problem is my language-setting being "swedish". I will check if I can switch to english. Update/confirmed. Change LANG to en_GB, this enabled the architechture to be correct and the control SL again to appear and to be possible to be updated. Thanks!

Hi, I am trying to make my runtime support TargetViso on 4.12.0.0 runtime. First when I tried to install package I got error due to missing libraries that are generated through qt-base. After compiling and installing related qt lib when I tried to install the package, I didnt get lib dependencies error but I got another error: [ERROR] The installed QT Version does not meet the minimum required version 6.4.2. Please install version 6.4.2 or higher and try again. When I check Qt version I get the following response QMake version 3.1 Using Qt version 6.5.0 in /usr/local/qt6/lib. I tried with Qt version 6.9.0 but that didn't help. Any idea on what coudl be the reason. When I looked for codesys related processes the related libraries were included within environment.

Still looking for a solution. I have gathered more information that might help: Device: ABB AC500 PM556-TP-ETH Firmware version: 2.4.2.14993 (dated 2014) Open ports confirmed: 502 (Modbus TCP), 1200 and 1201 (CODESYS runtime). SSH (22) and HTTP (80) are not reachable. No SD card in the PLC. I can connect via Automation Builder using the current IP and Online Login works, but I have no original source project available. Automation Builder requires a full PLC download to apply IP changes, which we want to avoid as it would overwrite the running program. Any guidance on how to change the IP without a full download would be greatly appreciated. I am also open to solutions using third party tools, DCP protocol, or scripts. Thank you

Hello everybody I want to controll a stepper driver from Leadshine (EM3E-556E). The EtherCat slave is CiA 402 compatible. Because of this I bought the Softmotion Light Package from Codesys and implemented it in my project. I rightclicked the EtherCat slave and added the Softmotion Light axis. But now the error message shows: "The license is missing or invalid. The PLC runs in demo mode." What have i done wrong? I use Codesys 3.5.17. Is it possible that the stepper driver is not compatible with the Softmotion license? Thanks for all your help

Hello, I am seeing some weird runtime behavior related to the EQ function on a rapsberry pi based system. I have attached a screenshot showing the strange latching I am seeing on the EQ function, and I have not seen this behavior before. I tried freshly restarting the runtime and it has this same behavior. Anyone seen this? I am on 3.5.20 with the latest runtime installed. Basically, as soon as it hits one of those EQ's in the program, it latches effectively locking the output on. Any input from the Codesys team would be appreciated as well as anyone that might know what I am seeing.

What are the limitations of the OPC UA Server? I am trying to get data off my PLC that is acquired at high rates (~50k samples/s) so I am storing them in arrays and trying to get the arrays off the PLC. When I attempt to read a ~200k element array through OPC UA the server and runtime crashes (requiring tools -> update linux arm64 -> start runtime). Is there a better way to get highspeed data off? The ACDatalog library seems a bit irritating to use so I would prefer to go through OPC UA.

Hi, I'm currently reading and writing several registers with a Modbus TCP server as a subdevice of a Modbus TCP Client. If I read and write cyclically, there are no issues. The problem is this: I see there is also the option to write by "Application", which I would like to use. However, I don't know With the Modbus RTU client, I see there is a trigger variable, xTrigger, to trigger the writing tasks. However, I can't find any such trigger for the Modbus TCP Client. Does anybody know how to implement the trigger behavior for the Modbus TCP client? In particular, I struggle to find the exact "trigger" variable. I'm running Modbus Client version 4.4.0.0 Thanks in advance!

Good afternoon, After changing the security settings to: CommunicationPolicy: POLICY_BASICSHA256SHA256 CommunicationMode: ALL Activation: Activated UserAuthentication: ENABLED Then generate a new certificate on the device for the OPC-UA server from Security Agent->Device->OPC UA Server. Restart the runtime using tools->Update Raspberry Pi->Stop->Start for the changes to take effect. It may take a minute for the runtime to start. Initiate the connection from the UA server side. You should see a pop-up asking you to trust the certificate. Click on the button 'Trust Server Certificate'. Next, you should see a certificate in the quarantined folder of the security agent in CODESYS. Click and drag this from quarantined to trusted and then try connecting from UA expert to the device. These steps worked for me and my setup and I hope they can help you!

Thanks for the response. I have found this file in two places, I have updated the text in both but it didnt work. Am I missing something on the Codesys side. How do you restart the soft plc, I have been stopping it and starting it. The Visu screen come up but still in full screen mode. Hallo zusammen, ich möchte an einem Entwicklungsboard auf dem der i.MX 8M Plus von NXP aufgesteckt ist die vier zur Verfügung gestellten GPIOs als Ausgänge verwenden. Ich habe mir dazu die Readme-Datei des GPIO-Beispiels von "C:\Program Files\CODESYS 3.5.20.40\CODESYS\CODESYS Control SL Extension Package\4.14.0.0\Examples\GPIO" angeschaut Die Übersicht der verfügbaren GPIOs sieht folgendermaßen aus - wobei ich das auf die reduziert habe, die für mich von Interesse sind: gpiochip0: GPIOs 0-31, parent: platform/30200000.gpio, 30200000.gpio: gpio-0 (SODIMM206 ) gpio-1 (SODIMM208 ) gpio-2 ( ) gpio-3 ( ) gpio-4 ( |sd-vsel ) out hi gpio-5 (SODIMM210 ) gpio-6 (SODIMM212 ) gpio-7 (SODIMM216 ) gpio-8 (SODIMM218 ) gpio-9 ( ) gpio-10 ( ) gpio-11 (SODIMM16 ) gpio-12 (SODIMM155 |regulator-usb1-vbus ) out lo gpio-13 (SODIMM157 ) gpio-14 (SODIMM185 |regulator-usb2-vbus ) out hi gpio-15 (SODIMM91 )** Füge ich nun das GPIO (1 Bit)-Gerät in meinem Codesys-Programm hinzu funktioniert der Bus solange bis ich die Richtung in den GPIO-Parametern von "not used" auf "Output" stelle (siehe Bild gpio_parameter). Dann funktioniert nach Download der Bus nicht mehr. Gibt es noch eine andere Möglichkeit das zu steuern oder muss ich noch Einstellungen tätigen? Für die Zeile mit dem echo (export/unexport) aus dem Beispiel fehlen mir trotz sudo die Zugriffsrechte. "The Kernel Linux has deprecated GPIO user space SysFS. Dear Eschwellinger, Thank you for the response. Does that mean that the license-manager inside the Codesys-IDE does not work with this setup anymore? Because when I use this I get the notification that there is no dongle attached to the device (see picture). And If I insert the license by the deploy tool, can I then redeploy the Codesys virtual control container, or does this erase the license completely?

Hello, I need to execute "sudo" commands via CoDeSys 3.5 SP 19 P5 using the "SysProcessExecuteCommand2" function. Commands without sudo are no problem, but as soon as sudo is used in a .sh or a single command, it does not work. Command=AllowAll is entered under "SysProcess" in CODESYSControl.cfg. Nevertheless it does not work. Does anyone know what the problem could be? Greetings, Thomas

Man, this was a long time ago. I think the problem probably stemmed from not loading the certificates from the client and the server on the server and client respectively in the correct manner. I believe I ended up getting around it just by removing all security on the server. In the end we did not move forward with that architecture so I never had to actually fix it.
