Thanks for the answer. So yes I've enabled expert settings, and yes i've added some SDOs, but some of them who are generated are likely making a mess in the network and generated error with my device... From which library comes those 2 function blocks ?

I'm not sure I understand what you're asking, but I don't believe a function block with this behavior exists in the default libraries. I think the best solution would be using multiple and/or blocks or make your own function block.

So in my case the solution was that I had both smooth path and round path in the code. Both blocks had their own buffer and seemed completely separate but still triggering Execute on both caused the mentioned problems. When I blocked Execute the problems disappeared.

Noch eine Info dazu: als Version der Pi MC SL wird mir 4.21.0.0 angezeigt. In der log steht jedoch für IoDrvGPIO: 4.17.0.0 was ist das Problem?

Then automatically the alarm manager can be filled with all the alarms for all instances of the motor function blocks (based on the created alarm template). Hi everyone, so a little update to this, I've come back to this project in the new year, and got it working. Yeah!, However, now with the new licensing setup, I need a new SoftMotion license, but it doesn't seem to be compatible with the previous Raspberry Pi SL license. Has anyone had any luck with Raspberry Pi and SoftMotion_Lite? Specifically the licensing of such? My customers new installation needs to be rebooted every 30min which is causing headaches! Another option is to not use the SoftMotion function blocks, and control the EtherCat amplifier directly, but I'm not sure how to do so. Does anyone have a specific example project of how to control a servo without the use of the SoftMotion function blocks? Thanks everyone for any assistance rendered. It's very much appreciated! Toby

I am trying to have these set to change the visualization to a specific screen which I have designed 8 of. I currently have "use CurrentVisu" enabled in the visualization manager. I also have input blocks with all of the buttons being directed to output blocks which I want to have as the switcher for the visualization. Picture is attached for what I have currently. This could be the wrong approach to this issue. Any help is much appreciated.

Hi Jack, I think you have to look at a FB in a different way. A Function block (Class) can contain its own data. In other words don't define loose data in your GVL, but define a instance of a FB (Object) in your GVL: Example: Function_Block Basic_Class VAR_INPUT Open_Command: BOOL; END_VAR VAR_OUTPUT Opened: BOOL; END_VAR if Open_Command then Opened := TRUE; ELSE Opened := FALSE; END_IF Global Variables Objects: ARRAY[1..100] OF Basic_Class; //Here you ar defining you objects END_VAR In your code you can directly acces the data and couple it to the IO: GVL.Objects[1].Open_Command := %IX0.0; %QX0.0 := GVL.Objects[1].Opened; //To call the code itself use: GVL.Objects[1](); If you want to take this a step further you are also able to add methods and properties to the FB/Class end thereby creating a OOIP program

Hi, Softmotion Robotics does not support tracking in/out to dynamic coordinate systems with relative movements. Is MC_MoveLinearAbsolute an option? so it is not possible for me to use the function blocks and through them I can select the digital outputs of the PLC so that pulses and direction are output, or some function block that does this reading and in it I can program the pulse and direction outputs for the drive?
