That might not be enough using CODESYS V3.5 SP20 and CODESYS Control for Raspberry Pi MC SL version: 4.11 I deleted .cmact_license directory. I installed new license and the dialog box said it was done successfully, but in reality it was not. Hi, I have been trying to use CryptoGenerateHash from the CmpCrypto Implementation library. My code is taken almost directly from the CryptoDemo.project example provided on Codesys Forge, yet the CryptoGenerateHash function does not write to the address listed in pHash. RTS_IEC_RESULT is OK, but I am getting nothing out of the function. No errors either, all my libraries are up to date. Any help would be appreicated! Hello, I'm trying to use a raspberryPi 5 as a PLC. I fixed its IP address, I can ping it. I've also installed the CODESYS Control for Raspberry Pi 64 SL runtime on it. So I've created a gateway (IP address of the Raspberry, TCP port 1217). I see the green dot next to this gateway. When I do a network scan, I can see my raspberry (see photo). When I try to connect to it, I have to define an administrator profile, which I do. On validation, I see a message: No device is responding to the scan request. I've checked that port 1217 is listening on the raspberry, I've uninstalled the runtime then installed it again, but I can't connect. Also, when I try to configure the user groups before connecting, I see that Offline mode is not supported by the device, even though I'm connected to it in the Deploy Control SL tab. When I try to refresh, I see: Gateway not configured properly. How can I connect to my Raspberry? Have I defined my gateway incorrectly?

I have a Hmi that acts as an interface for many (mostly identical) units. This is managed by a sort of "mux" where you select which unit that should be presented on the HMI. Backbone is solved by a HMI-gvl defined as reference/pointer to "unit-data", which then can be set to the individual units. While this works for most data I still have not sorted how to solve this for the trend recordings. One solution would be to have already "mux:ed" data values as source for the/one trend. However then the trend would contain data from different units/sources which could/will cause confusion. If its possible to "clear" this can be mitigated. Possibly let the trend have its own "mux-selector" (ie, the hmi are focusing on unit#3 however trend data is locked on unit#5), that could also work.. Or, let each unit have its own trend recording, which is focused if the unit is "selected". Can I reach the trend recording objects programmatically (those defined in the device tree)? Ie, can I use a "reference/pointer to these trend recording objects"? There is a field "data source" in the trend properties dialog which seems to resemble what Im looking for? But Im not sure if I can use it in some way, I cannot change anything in this field it only says <local application="">. </local>

Hallo zusammen, hi all, ich habe den gleichen Fehler. Auf einem Raspberry Pi geht der Fehler weg, wenn ich alles bereinige und dann vollständig übersetze. Wenn das Projekt im Codesys Development System wieder neu geladen wird ist der Fehler aber wieder da. Mit eine Win V3 x64 PLC kann ich den Fehler nur unterbinden wenn ich auf der HMI das VUM_Login einbinde. Dieses brauche ich aber nicht, da ich die HMI für das User Management selbst gestaltet habe. Das funktioniert auch. I have the same error. On a Raspberry Pi the error goes away if I clean everything and then compile completely. When the project is reloaded in the Codesys Development System, the error returns. With a Win V3 x64 PLC I can only prevent the error if I integrate the VUM_Login on the HMI. But I don't need this because I designed the HMI for user management myself. That works too. Anyone have an idea to fix this problem. Many thanks

Hi, Communication with the ADS1115 is actually simple. 1. write config 2. write address pointer 3. read conversation register The ADS1115 works like a multiplexer. This means that you do this individually for each channel that you want to read. e.g: Channel 1: write config > write address pointer > read conversation register Channel 2: write config > write address pointer > read conversation register Channel 3: write config > write address pointer > read conversation register Channel 4: write config > write address pointer > read conversation register then you start again from the beginning You can also omit individual channels or read only one. It doesn't matter. I have written the driver so that I can also use it on the TCA9548. The driver is from Stefan Dreyer. In your case, the driver works and communication with the ADS1115 is running. As you can see, the cfgWrong:=FALSE If you could not write or read data, cfgWrong:=TRUE; This means that either something is wrong with your ADS1115 or you have connected something incorrectly. The issue s the byte order typically in this case. Can be especially problematic with floating point numbers - even more tricky if transferred with a word based protocol. It is a peasant way to try out the alternatives, dword order can be a-b-c-d, b-a-d-c, c-d-a-b, d-c-b-a where a is the most significant, d is the least significant byte. So all you need is to swap the bytes in your dword, until you get the expected result. If you don't want to mess writing code for this, I'd recommend CAA_Memory library for that: MEM.ReverseBYTEsInDWORD and MEM.ReverseWORDsInDWORD functions would definitively do the trick. The traffic light must follow these rules: Green light is on for 10 seconds. Yellow light is on for 3 seconds. Red light is on for 10 seconds. If the pedestrian button is pressed, the system must keep the red light on for 20 seconds during the next cycle. After the pedestrian has “crossed,” the system should return to its normal cycle. Basic Steps: Initialization: Start by setting the traffic light to Red. Green Phase: After 10 seconds, switch to Green. Yellow Phase: After 10 seconds in the Green phase, switch to Yellow. Red Phase: After 3 seconds in the Yellow phase, switch back to Red. Loop: Repeat the cycle. Use, for example, lamp symbols in the visualization module to simulate the traffic light. Busy testing a solution to use Canbus Slave to replace a physical device and convert to Ethercat device but keep the Canbus Master in place. Master needs to Read SDO object 5FA2. In the Master PLC if i send the SDO with 8 bytes in message IE: 60B 40 A2 5F 00 00 00 00 00 i get my expected 58B 43 A2 5F 00 00 68 36 02 containing data back. Problem is if we issue a 4 byte command can send 60B 40 A2 5F. Surely the canbus slave should respond with a 58B 43 A2 5F 00 00 68 36 02 but it comes back as 80 A2 5F 00 00 00 00 08 - meaning this OBJECT does not exist. Is there a setting in the canbus slave driver for Canbus to allow the 4 byte command to read the SDO OBJECTS ?

Hi I am trying use the Codesys Communication Manager to set up an Opc ua server with a custom information model. As a start I am using the Boiler model available on Opc foundations github page. I am testing with a Wago CC100 and using Codesys V3.5 SP19 Patch 6. I get the following error: Communication Manager [Device: PLC Logic: Application]: The information model http://opcfoundation.org/UA/ is required by http://opcfoundation.org/UA/Boiler/ with a minimal publication date from 15/12/2023 but the device has only a model from 15/09/2021 installed. Probably the information model from 15/09/2021 is missing in the information model repository. The error message does not make sense to me. Should it not be “Probably the information model from 15/12/2023 is missing in the information model repository”? Anyway, both versions are available in the repository. How can I solve this?

Hallo, das Thema ist ja etwas offtopic. Aber ich kann gerne mal von meiner Erfahrung berichten: Nachdem ich von 2020 bis 2023 immer einen MacBook Pro mit Intel CPU hatte (i9/32GB) und nun seit Januar 2024 mit dem M3 Max unterwegs bin kann ich Nachfolgendes berichten. Infos zu den Aufgaben, die ich damit erledige: Die Runtime nutze ich nicht auf dem Mac (Wenn ich von Mac rede, dann meine ich damit die Win11 ARM64 Parallels Umgebung) Ich nutze die IDE für Library development und für automatisierungs Tests von CI/CD jobs. Weiterhin öffne ich oft große Projektarchive mit teilweise 160 MB. Erfahrungen zur Installation von CODESYS Versionen: Ich habe einige Versionen installiert, unter anderem, 3.5.14.4, 3.5.17.2, 3.5.16.3, 3.5.18.4 und 3.5.19.6. Ich hatte mit keiner einizgen Installation ein Problem. Die Installation lief immer ohne Probleme durch. Runtimes (Control Win) installiere ich nicht. Ich nutze linux basierte Zielsysteme und bei bedarf eine Windows VM auf einen entfernen Host mit X64. Lokales Gateway läuft ebenso Sonstige Erfahrungen: Ich nutze viele Komponenten Querbeet: Alarming, AC Persistence, Symbol Konfiguration, CFC und ST Editor, externes Packages wie STWeep, Git für Library Entwicklung, Visu, etc. Mit keiner dieser "Komponenten" hatte ich schwierigkeiten oder einen Unterschied zu x64 systemen festgestellt. Man muss aber auch sagen, dass das alles nur ein kleiner Bruchteil ist, was die CODESYS Welt beinhaltet, deshalb sind diese Aussagen auch nur subjektiv aus meinem Erfahrungsbereich. Für das Entwickeln von Libraries sehe ich keine Performance Einschränkungen. Ganz im Gegenteil, für das, dass hier eine emulation stattfindet, ist es erstaunlich schnell. Meiner Meinung nach sind sogar einfache und kleine Projekte schneller als beim Intel Mac. Die Akku Leistung mit dem Mac und Parallels ist fantastisch. Lüfter hört man nicht mal bei der Nutzung von CODESYS. Beim Intel konnte ich sonst ein Spiegelei auf der Abdeckung zubereiten... Was evtl. etwas langsamer ist bzw. mir manchmal so vor kommt ist, der CFC Editor im Online Mode. Aber hierzu fehlt mir ein richtiger Vergleich. Fazit: Ich bin selbst erstaunt wie gut die CODESYS IDE auf einem ARM64 emuliert wird. Ich muss aber auch sagen, dass ich jederzeit eine x64 Workspace zur Verfügung habe, falls was nicht funktionieren sollte. Das habe ich mir extra zum Umstieg zu gelegt. Bisher habe ich es jedoch noch nie benötigt, da meine Anforderungen alle erfüllt werden. Es sollte einem aber bewusst sein, dass dies keine supportete Umgebung ist und man auch bei spezifischen Problemen keinen Support erwarten sollte. Ich nutze CODESYS ca. 4-12 Stunden die Woche und ich warte immer noch auf etwas, um meine X64 Cloud Workspace mal zu verwenden... Vielleicht hilft dir dies ja etwas bei der Entscheidung.

Hallo, Ich bringe das CameraStream.project nicht zum Laufen. Ich sehe die Ursache darin, das das Beispielprogramm sehr sparsam mit Programm-Kommentaren umgeht (von der Hilfe gar nicht zu reden). Die Url-Streams habe ich gelassen wie sie vorgegeben waren: urlStream := CONCAT('http://', CONCAT(sIPAddress, '/video.htm')); urlPicture := CONCAT('http://', CONCAT(sIPAddress, '/cam_pic.php')); In der Webvisu im Browser komme ich maximal dahin wie im Screeshot Video_Visu_1 zu sehen. Also scheint der Link zu video.htm zu klappen. Das der zu cam_pic.php nicht klappt, wundert mich nicht, denn es existiert nicht und wird auch nicht evtl. am rechten Ort angelegt. Ich bin mir vollkommen im Unklaren: muss da was auf dem Raspberry Pi im Hintergrund laufen , z.B. raspivid . Welcher Programmteil bedient die Cam ? Ich erkenne auch nicht, wo ein einzelnes picture entstehen soll. Wäre dankbar, wenn ich hier etwas Hilfe bekommen könnte. Evtl. gibt es Probleme mit der von mir verwendeten Codesys-Version 3.5.20.1 ? Ich benutze einen Raspberry 4 Rev.1.2. Grüße Thomas

Hallo, Ich bastele gerade an einer möglichst einfachen Möglichkeit mit der ich prüfen kann ob ein String Sonderzeichen enthält. Mein Ansatz ist ein ST FB mit einer Case Schrittkette. Ich vergleiche jedes Zeichen des Strings mit allen Zeichen eines vorher definierten Strings erlaubter Zeichen, der A-Z, a-z und 0-9 enthält und ggf angepasst werden kann, wenn ich weitere Zeichen erlaube. Leider wird meine j Zählervariable nicht richtig ausgeführt. Hat da jemand eine Idee? Oder gibt es eine einfachere Lösung/einen fertigen FB den ich mir anschauen kann?
