Hello there, I have an eip adapter running (remotely) that is sending data back to eip scanner (running on codesys). I can send data from scanner (codesys) to the adapter but not getting the data back from the adapter. I have verified the incoming data on wireshark but I don't see this data in the codesys. I have tried local variable mapping and global variable mapping not variable values just stays at 0. Please guide.

You should ask IFM to provide you with the correct version of their controller packages. Then after you have installed this, you can select the correct version of the controller by right clicking on it in the device tree, update device, enable the option "Display all versions" and then select the version which matches your controller. Alternatively you can ask IFM to provide an update package which can update the runtime version on your controller to 3.2.0.0.

OK, I got this to work as shown above in mos89p's comment. What I did: Tools/Update Raspberry Pi. Reloading the runtime seems to have solved the web problem. I can view the visualization on the Pi and laptop using a browser as shown above. Thanks! But Isn't the visualization supposed to take over the screen of the Raspi? When I run visu projects on Windows or Wago, the visualization shows on that device's screen by default.. But this is not happening in this case

Hello. I forgot the password to ControlWinV3X64. I watched on youtube that i must delete folder from "ProgramData/CODESYS/CODESYSControlWinV3x64" But the problem is that in the the CODESYS there is no folder named CODESYSControlWinV3X64. I checked if the folder is hidden but it's just not there. I can't find it and can't reset the password. Could you help me to reset this password. I even tried to uninstall and install the CODESYS but nothing helps.

Dear Forum, We are currently making the switch from OPC-DA (Codesys server) to OPC-UA (Running on a Codesys controller). We are using Codesys version 3.5 SP 20. Our Scada system is expecting Boolean's to be represented as a 0/1 (True Boolean) but the OPC-UA server is representing a boolean as False/True This indeed matches the OPC-UA standard, but is there a way to configure the OPC-UA server's boolean representation? Hi mate, With this snippet i was able to see the lastusage variable count, but it would not iterate between clients? i was only able to access the data of the target visu. it threw an error with the array of pointers stating it was not able to convert etc. also when i tried it with the while loop it created an endless loop and crashed the program. any ideas? Hi All, Recently I have been experiencing a issue in CodeSys SP16 Patch 3, with a exception which comes up after I have made several online changes. callcallback() iec exception caught cmpid=0x00000002, eventid=0x00010008, after I experience this fault then I receive a error message for any subsequent online change "online change failed, no task gap within 10000ms". To recover either the controller needs a orgin reset, which will allow online edits thereafter until falling back into the loop. I am using a TURCK TX707 product which is controlling robot trajectory, We have hard coded the coordinate data rather than using persistence variables so hence the need to do online changes consistently. I have read on the forum other people have experienced similar issue with the online task gap, but I have no task which have same priority and also monitored the CPU usage and have not seen it go above 13%. Anyones help would be much appreciated, thankyou.

Hi, Communication with the ADS1115 is actually simple. 1. write config 2. write address pointer 3. read conversation register The ADS1115 works like a multiplexer. This means that you do this individually for each channel that you want to read. e.g: Channel 1: write config > write address pointer > read conversation register Channel 2: write config > write address pointer > read conversation register Channel 3: write config > write address pointer > read conversation register Channel 4: write config > write address pointer > read conversation register then you start again from the beginning You can also omit individual channels or read only one. It doesn't matter. I have written the driver so that I can also use it on the TCA9548. The driver is from Stefan Dreyer. In your case, the driver works and communication with the ADS1115 is running. As you can see, the cfgWrong:=FALSE If you could not write or read data, cfgWrong:=TRUE; This means that either something is wrong with your ADS1115 or you have connected something incorrectly. Question: what voltage do you want to measure?
