hello i have installed codesys runtime mc sl and sl on a CM4 but after 30 second process exit. have tried those runtime versions: 4.08 4.09 4.10 4.11 i get this message in all situations: ooops... this runtime was built for RASPBERRYPI. What worked for me with this error was to go to Tools -> Update Raspberry Pi, select Install, and from the popup screen, there are options to change your installation (I changed it to single core, instead of multicore), and I was then able to connect to my Rpi 4.

After installing this new 4.12.0.0 SL version on my RPi5 8GB and the latest bootloader, the runtime disappeared after 15secs. The bootloader my pi uses is from 2024-06-11. I was able to resolve this issue using this post: https://forge.codesys.com/forge/talk/Runtime/thread/be25c0ff66/ The workaround works for me.

have a look at UNIONs. With a union you are able to write single bytes to the same adress area which belongs to a float variable at the same time. I like to do a lot of convertions belonging to interfaces and fieldbus in this way, f.eg. word / byte swapping etc.

Hello, In Codesys I can't find where to configure Ethercat Master VLAN tagging? In Beckhoff in Infosys there is an attached image so you can see it... I would like to try ethercat master with VLAN, to try to have several ethercat masters on a single ethernet port... I imagine that managed VLAN switches are also necessary? Thanks.

Hi John, Coincidentally I also tried creating a custom kinematics model for a parallel delta2 like the picture I added. bipod_rotary doesn't seem to do the job. Have you accomplished a working model? I'm stuck on error: "smc_cp_invalid_path_elem" while im certain my math is correct since we made it work using single axis movements. Maybe we could help each other Best regards, Joep

Ok, this is a test programme with ADS1115. It is currently configured for the TCA9548 muxboard. If you want to run the ADS1115 single, then change the settings to the default values: ‘Is Multiplex:’ False ‘Stage mux channel numbers:’ [0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0] It is also important that the libraries are installed correctly here. So none of the images from the 64bit archive work with any Codesys Control versions? I have tried the last Pi OS with every Codesys Control version and they don't work. I was wondering if there's any stable combination of versions.

Hey, ist es nicht möglich die WagoApp Biblitoheken in zusammenhang mit dem Codesys Control for Win zu nutzen? Wenn ich so eine Bibliothek im Projekt habe, lässt sich das Programm nicht auf das Device Control for Win nicht laden. Entferne ich die Bibliotheke geht es ohne Probleme. Hat damit schon jemand Erfahrung gemacht? Viele Grüße!

Hello, I was trying to create a redundancy POC for our application where we read data from few modbus tcp devices. As there is a limitaion that modbus tcp device support only for single master device, we wanted to test how the variable sync happens in redundancy mode. For that i have used the redundancy sample code added a variable "b" under a condition. What i observed was while active controller is running, if passive controller is powerup, passive controller is able to sync all the data configured for redundacny. But after that the variable data which resided under a condition is not synching from active to passive controller. I have attached the image where i have highlighter the variable. Can some help me to understand how redundacny work in codesys soft plc and if there is a solution to sync variable which are under condition, please explain the same or suggestion to achieve the same. Hardware - Raspberry Pi (2 qty) Redundancy licence used - yes in both controllers. Codesys runtime - 4.9.0.0 Codesys software version - V3.5 SP19 if i have posted this question in wrong section, please do let me know in whcih section i have to post this question.

I recognized that I have to start the two services "/etc/init.d/codemeter" and "/etc/init.d/codemeter-webadmin" in the docker container as well. If I do so, then the command "cmu -x" returns root@sensoredge-field-netfield-produktmanagment:/# cmu -x cmu - CodeMeter Universal Support Tool. Version 7.60c of 2023-Aug-09 (Build 5625) for Linux/ARMHF 64-Bit Copyright (C) 2007-2023 by WIBU-SYSTEMS AG. All rights reserved. So this time there is no indication any more that "Codemeter is not running". But still we are getting the error when using the license manager in CODESYS development system.

Good morning @eschwellinger, After some research I found out that the problem is the preinstalled CodeMeter on Raspberry Pi. As I mentioned the CodeMeter was installed on the Raspberry because I use a license from other vendor that needs the CodeMeter to be installed. The problem is that when I uninstall the CodeMeter from Raspberry I am able to detect the dongle from CODESYS and everything works as it should be but now the other product can not detect its own license. When I reinstall the CodeMeter I am back to the initial problem. Is there a way to overcome this conflict through CODESYS?

16.4 Epis What has it to do with the manufacture? It just a licence more not. So basicly the idee of codesys sucks. 3s acts like its posible to add a license. And then it depence on the manufacturer. Why ?? Its a computer !! has nothing to do with the manufacturer. Most dont what a basic licence because they have to pay for that. 3s is the problem not the manufacture of the hardware. Its like the licence of the raspberry pi. HMI is not working. Sorry you get a refund. Why suggest that its possible wen its not !!. It cost me a lot of time. Who pays my time. Why do i have to pay for somting thats not working.

If your Control Win is the Modbus "Master" then your configuration should be something like: Modbus_COM (Serial port) - Modbus Master (this is the Control Win SoftPLC actively setting up the communication) - Modbus Slave (this is then your WAGO 750-315) You need to add channels to the Modbus Slave configuration to inform the master which variables to read/write from the Wago module. The way you configured it now, the Control Win is also a slave. PS, don't forget to put the PLC (Control Win) in Run.

I installed CodeSys V3.5 SP9 for HY-eVision2 1.18.0.0 and activated the License Keys for SVN and noticed that the "SVN" doesn't pop up when i go on Menu - Project. For some reason the SVN works on CodeSys SP10. I already deinstalled all CodeSys Applications and installed them again but it's the same. Maybe the problem already occurred and someone could help me.

I just want to highlight, that we intend to use the codesys runtime on an embedded device that has no possibilites to connect any dongle devices to. What worked for me: Use SMC_SetControllerMode and set the nControllerMode to SMC_nocontrol. With that, you can control the drive via Modes of Operation(16#6060) and Controlword(16#6040) directly. Hope that helps, Cheers!
