The problem is looking for a bug somewhere in CoDeSys in that, when the slave returns, the cyclic data exchange resumes, but the diagnostics do not update and the node continues to resulting off-line. it is not a problem with the PB master, but with its 3S/CoDeSys management. CoDeSys 3.5.19.20 runtime. Any ideas on how to fix it? Thank you.

Not sure if you've resolved this yet, but the Codesys runtime user/password is different than the Linux user/password. You'll need the Linux user credentials when you log in over SSH (for example, to install the Codesys runtime). When you first log in to Codesys on the RaspPi you'll set up a Codesys user and password. If you lost those credentials, you could try uninstalling and then re-installing the Codesys runtime on the RaspPi so you can setup a new user/password.

Hi Everyone, It is a very useful feature to be able to obtain the enum value as a string with the TO_STRING operator by defining {attribute 'to_string'}. Hello everyone. I have a problem: I installed new version of codesys IDE. When I try open project in this new version, I have many errors about Visu: rectalnge/button/frame/etc does not exist. How update properly project? 20+ pages of visu pages from 100+ frames and all visu elems looks like "Error image". It is not problem of SP20->SP21. Any update has problems from visu side.

The problem has been resolved. Two findings are described below for future reference. The new RPi hw delivered during August 2025 has a MAC address from a new vendor series that is not supported by old runtimes. 4.17.0.0 or above is required. 4.17.0.0 does not pick up the correct architecture during installation and aarch64 has to be manually configured either in the GUI under operations or in /etc/codesyscontrol/CODESYSControl_User.cfg under the [CmpRasPi] section.

Dear Eschwellinger, Thank you for the response. Does that mean that the license-manager inside the Codesys-IDE does not work with this setup anymore? Because when I use this I get the notification that there is no dongle attached to the device (see picture). And If I insert the license by the deploy tool, can I then redeploy the Codesys virtual control container, or does this erase the license completely?

That calculation will not work the way you expect it to. If PumpFillSpeed is limitied to 0-50 then the only whole number would be 50/50 = 1 everything else is 0.0-0.9999... and since you are using word and integer only 50 would work since there is no representation for mantissa in integer values. Declare a temporary real variable and do the calculation and then do a REAL_TO_WORD in the DRV2Speed assignment.

Hello, I need to execute "sudo" commands via CoDeSys 3.5 SP 19 P5 using the "SysProcessExecuteCommand2" function. Commands without sudo are no problem, but as soon as sudo is used in a .sh or a single command, it does not work. Command=AllowAll is entered under "SysProcess" in CODESYSControl.cfg. Hi, I recently got a license for Raspberry Pi, after license activation I made a backup copy of "CMLicenseNew.WibuCmRaU" file to a safe place. Things got complicated and I tried to downgrade OS for some reason after that I tried several times/ways to restore my license with no luck. the specifications are as follows: Raspberry Pi 4 Model B Rev 1.1 codesyscontrol 4.10.0.0 SDK 3.5.19.30 Logs: **** ERROR: CodeMWriteLicenseFile: 'CMLicenseNew.WibuCmRaU' failed: Container not found or Server dose not support .... I use the function SysFile.SysFileOpen(sFileNamePara, SysFile.ACCESS_MODE.AM_WRITE, pErrorFileOpen); to open and write a file. Since the update from Codesys V3.5 SP17 to V3.5 SP19 Patch 5 it does not work anymore. I first had SysFile.SysFileOpen(sFileNamePara, SysFile.ACCESS_MODE.AM_APPEND_PLUS, pErrorFileOpen); in both versions. hFile_Test is a pointer to byte. It gives an exceptional error when dereferencing the hFile_Test pointer. Edit: I use Codesys on a Raspberry pi

Hi, Similar problem, I have license for Raspberrypi Control MC SL. It didn't work with version 4.10.0.0. I have now instaled new version 4.11.0.0. Raspberrypi Control SL. The same behavior, runtime works sometime several minutes, sometime only several seconds. The second problem is with license. There isn't available any runtime MC SL on Codesys shop, not even older version 4.10.0.0. Is it only temporarily or, MC SL will be not available more for rpi?

I have two ethernet Ip drives and created Function Blocks for different motions tasks. I am using same FB for both the drives. When I try to execute the relative move start command on FB for both the drives it is not working. However, if I add 1ms second delay between the execution of each drive it is working. Also when I change the rung order it is working for the first drive in the rung. what could be the wrong here?

Just adding some info regarding the issue above. Logged onto the project using dev3og5 user (see screenshots); appeared to be ok although when attempting to logon to the device message says 'currently not authorized to perform this operation on the device' (screenshot). If user dev3og5 has same permissions as Owner user; why would it not be authorized. I am at a loss; any assistance would greatly be appreciated. Thank you Mike
