In your project you selected the "CODESYS Control Win V3" as device, but the device you want to connect to is a "CODESYS Control Win V3 x64". Those are not the same. If you double click on the device during the network scan, you will get information that these are not the same, but that you can change the type in your project to the x64 bit type. Another option is to "right-click" on the device in the device tree of your project and select "update device" then select the x64 type.

Hello! I managed to correctly launch CODESYS Developer Studio 3.5.17, almost all functionality works. The only issue remaining is that when connecting to a device and obtaining its public key, the NCryptEncrypt function is called, which is not fully implemented in the DLL source code, resulting in the connection not being established. Good morning, mecke96. Exactly the same thing happens to me, although I have not done the part of executing a .py file. It only reads the temperature and the counter, but the other values are zero as in your image "no readings". I have tested the MPU6050 device on an Arduino and it works. Could you tell me if you solved it?

I'm installed the CODESYS Control for Linux SL package and am trying to use the Extension API to call a simple C function. When I get to the step to run "make all" on the Linux machine, I get the error: build interface header: out/CmpFirstTestItf.h from CmpFirstTestItf.m4 ERROR: This functionname does not contain _cext (this is mandatory, see help for details): DEF_API(void',CDECL',external_struct__fb_init',(external_struct_fb_init_struct *p)',1,0x1F77E075,0x00000001) Why does "Generate Runtime System Files" create a function that does not have cext in the name? What am I missing?

Man, this was a long time ago. I think the problem probably stemmed from not loading the certificates from the client and the server on the server and client respectively in the correct manner. I believe I ended up getting around it just by removing all security on the server. In the end we did not move forward with that architecture so I never had to actually fix it.

thank you for pointing me to this "bug"!! I haven't recognized, the bit is reset after the first alarm is gone. I use this only for warnings, so it's not a drama, but was not correct in the past. I solved it now simply stupid by counting up a variable every time an alarm appears and decreasing it if an alarm is gone. The "warning lamp" is activated by checking the counter is > 0 The nice side effect, i'm able to show the number of active alarms in the state line now.

Hello I'm using Codesys V3.5 SP19 Patch 6 and a Raspberry PI 5 4GB Bookworm 32bit with the Runtime 4.11.0.0 SL. I can install the runtime and download the software completly but after a few seconds the connection disconnects with the message no connection to device. Please scan network again. And the object reference was not set to an object instance. See screenshot. Can somebody help me with that? Thanks

there is a new problem with latest bootloader version. For whom may not know why always get error code 16#4000 or 16#4002 while performing Recipe commands, the root cause is There is a line need to be inserted in CODESYSControl.cfg file, which is PlaceholderFilePath.1=/var/opt/codesys/PlcLogic/ I am using Pi, therefore the above path is set to my pi unit, after adding above line to my cfg file, all the Recipe commands work fine. But I still do not know how and when this file got modified though.

If you use 3.5 SP10, then Git is not supported. SVN will work fine, but with this version you do need a USB key, because software licenses are not supported with this version. Off course you can work without SVN (or Git), but especially if you work with multiple developers on one project, it will save you a lot of time and you can keep track of all changes and improvements much easier. So how much is this worth to you?

Hello. I'm trying to use RecipeManCommands.ReloadRecipes Method for getting recipes from files. When I call the method it does not generate any error but also not reload any recipe to the recipe definition. Actually I have 6 recipe files on the directory PlcLogic. The rest of the methods work creating recipes, saving to file, etc. Does any one have the same issue? it is something to be set on the recipe manager?

I have this error where the pou doesn't run even for simple programs like contact and a coil if i remove the pou from the task and put another one it works for one run then it stops working again in the photo we can see a contact is on but the coil connected to it is still not on and the device is in run mode I had this issue again and again any help

Thank you very much for your reply. That helped, it is editable if the library is at root level. Unfortunately, I noticed that I am not using the MQTT client SL, but the AzureMQTTClient from the Azure IoT Hub Client SL library. At first glance, there is no parameter to increase the message size. Does anyone know how to increase this in the library or is it simply not possible here?

However, I cannot connect and it restarts. the window to rewrite my identifiers. However it is the correct identifier and password I do not understand why. i know, this is the reason for us either. PLC-Handler is to big, and only available with additional Contracts/Costs. OPC-UA is to slow for us. As described, there is a solution available, but im not allowed to post them here. i would prefer you send a message at codesys store by "have a question" or similar called. Not sure. Or, if an Codesys-Official Member allows to share that informations, i can give you the right hints.

I have replaced a Parker PAC320 with a Schneider LMC 201 The system has some Parker Compax3 servodrive communicating over EtherCAT. PAC320 is programmed with Codesys 3.5.15. The program is opened in Machine Expert 3.2. But I can not get the commumication running to the Compax3. When I scan for hardware the it seems like the Compax3 is registated, but not the motors. Anyone that have succeded this replacement?

Goodmorning, The projects we have made (with several persons) are in differents versions, Codesys V3.5 sp18 patch4, V3.5 sp19 patch 2, V3,5 sp19 patch 5 etc V3.5 sp21 patch 3 etc.. Now when we're opening an project thats's not opend before on my pc and we're not sure in witch version it's made it's quite annoying. We don't want to update to the newest version. Is there a way that it's automatic opening the correct version? Is there a program/tool/easy way to do this? Thanks,

Dear Forum, When using a online-change I often get the following message: No Bootproject possible in this state: application out of memory. Perform full download first. I'm using Codesys virtual control for linux SL running on a docker server with plenty of memory available, therefore I’m not expecting a hardware limitation. Is there a setting available to for example reserve more memory, so the controller is not that quick out of memory? thank you in advance. Alex
