I experienced the same problem: using __VARINFO is working only in PRG context, while it crashes if used inside Function Blocks. I would really appreciate if they would fix this issue

I had a funcioning Directory read wit SYSDIR. Now ive got a new controller with Linux. and now i get only ordners Names. NO file Names !! WHY ? It workt already on a other with linux. But that was i think version 14

So in my case the solution was that I had both smooth path and round path in the code. Both blocks had their own buffer and seemed completely separate but still triggering Execute on both caused the mentioned problems. When I blocked Execute the problems disappeared.

Hi @spiritcore, Did you find a resolution to this? I'm running into a similar issue using TargetVisu when a user uses the login. It only happens sometimes, and when it does the login/logout buttons still work but the other buttons on the screen don't work.

Then automatically the alarm manager can be filled with all the alarms for all instances of the motor function blocks (based on the created alarm template). I need the same issue. In my application TCP server on raspberry (codesys) should have UnitID 1. But it only works when I am requesting with UnitID 255. And my application can't work with this parameters...

What version. 20.5 ? ive got also problems wiyth that version. Online change, it hangs itself after one hour. Then one project can problems. Ive change display with 21.0 . At home i turned on the 20.5 display. After 1 hour i goes to stop.

From your examples I was able to manage the different factories, even for custom elements. Now I need a hashtable, but with this object I’m running into a lot of random access violations. If I append something inside FB_Init after constructing the hashtable, it crashes, even though the list was already created. If I only create the hashtable in FB_Init and append afterwards, it usually works. The accesses are performed by a single task, and in any case I’m working on an isolated single core. I’ve tried everything, moving the create, the instances, and all the rest several times, but nothing seems to work. I’d like to point out that these FBs are part of our own library, which is used in many applications.

I'm running the 3.5.18.20 IDE, installed the control for linux SL package from the installer. Following the directions here: https://content.helpme-codesys.com/en/CODESYS%20Control/_rtsl_install_runtime_on_controller.html it says: Installing the runtime package with CODESYS on the Linux device Click Tools → Update CODESYS Control for <device> SL.</device> I don't have the update option in my tools menu. I've tried it without opening a project, as well as with a project open that uses the control for linux SL as a device. I have found the update device option by right clicking on the device in the device tree, but this only lets me change the device the project is using not load the runtime on the linux computer. Is there an updated instruction somewhere, or do I need to do some further preparation like install additional packages?

Hi, I have a Linux 64Bit system with a Codesys application running on it. It stops after 2hours and a few minutes, which makes me think something is wrong with the installed license. (in my last timing it stopped after 2h4min, on the codesys website it is stated that runtimes without a license stop after 2h) I installed the license via a USB license dongle that I activated on my workstation with the Codesys IDE a while ago. Now the system is shipped at not accessible physically, only remotely via SSH. So is there a way to check the status of the License of the Codesys runtime when it is running on the system? Running the codesyscontrol script with "status" just tells me that it is running, but does not provide any license information. Best regards
