Why does the flush command halt the execution of the application?

Is there a way to store persistent variables without a restart of codesyscontrol? Can anyone explain how and when CODESYS store persistent variables?

I have a XY chart in a visualization that is working fine, all lines are presented correctly. When I present the XY chart visualization in a frame, it seemes as no values are recorded, all lines are zero. When i open the visualization containing the XY chart in e!cockpit i see the lines are presented correctly but still not in the frame. Any ideas?

Hi, I have a Beckhoff EL6751 EtherCAT / CANopen gateway which fails on the Canbus when the CANopen_Manager is added. Currently no devices are connected to the EL6751. If I add a device, I get the same issue. If I add a device and connect the bus, I get the same issue. Is there something I am doing wrong? Regards Trevor

I believe I have installed the correct device descriptions and library, in an attempt to use the MCP3008 in conjunction with RPI; when project runs the MCP3008 is unable to find the correct driver. Is there anything I'm missing? Very new to this so any help is apprecated!

It seems as though the browser element doesn't support this and we are trying to replicate an example using the ActivX element with no luck. Hi, Softmotion Robotics does not support tracking in/out to dynamic coordinate systems with relative movements. Is MC_MoveLinearAbsolute an option? @PaRo erst mal vielen Dank für die Antwort. Wundert mich das so ein schwerer Bug nicht sofort gefixt wird. Wenn es keine offene Lib wäre, wäre keine Workaround möglich. Auch bei einem bestehende umfangreichem Programm nicht wirklich praktikabel. Gibt es irgendwo eine Liste mit bekannten Bugs? Gefunden habe ich nichts. Ich muss wohl wieder auf die alte Version zurück.

The individual structures were declared in a separate global variable list on a trial basis. But even this did not change the behavior. A total of 1667 variables are processed in a recipe. A reduction (e.g. saving only the first three drive parameter sets) also brought no change.

It seems that there is a limitation with the STRUCTs. Does anybody know, what’s okay to save (add to the recipe) and what’s not okay? Or is there another problem with my project? If I have only an array in the recipe definition everything works perfectly (see project).

Hi, I suppose that you are referring to the error code "SMC_FB_WASNT_CALLED_DURING_MOTION"? Starting of Softmotion version 4.15.0.0 the instance path of the function block that has not been called is logged into the device log. This might help you to identify why it has not been called.

have a look at UNIONs. With a union you are able to write single bytes to the same adress area which belongs to a float variable at the same time. I like to do a lot of convertions belonging to interfaces and fieldbus in this way, f.eg. word / byte swapping etc.

Gentleman OMG, I made a huge mistake when i tried and moved shaft by hand i hold cover(as on photo) in my fingers. I was convinced that shaft has key but it there is not key. So when i turn cover it slide on shaft. When i take off cover and drive is in standstill, shaft does not move. So everything works perfectly
