you do not need to configure it in any config file, just use the Windows network configuration to do this. CODESYS do a scan and will find the RTE no matter if you use dhcp or static ip configuration on Windows. If you are talking on Ethercat network or Profinet or EIP network card selection, this will be done in the CODESYS projekt by browsing the network interface.

do not install the Peak driver but the CODESYS driver here in the RTE directory: SysDrv3S\SysDrv3S.inf and additional C:\ProgramData\CODESYS\CODESYSControlRTEV3\CODESYSControl_User.cfg. [ComponentManager] Component.1=CmpDrvSchedulerAPIC . . Component.x=CmpSJACanDrv add the component, then it should work.

if everything is up to date ( CODESYS Version and PI Package) .. it should compile without problems. If you open existing projects - the procedure is: 1. Update Compiler version and Visu profile (to current version) 2. rightclick in the device tree - >update device to the raspberry pi plc 3. rightlick to the GPIO Connector and -> update device -> B/B+ If then still are compile errors due missing libraries -> download missing libraries in the library manager

Hi, du musst definitv ne echte SPS verwenden, in deinem 2. Screenshot steht ja immer noch Simulation. Du musst die Appliaktion auf den Server laden, dann auf eine echte SPS deployen und es muss auch ein Gateway dafür konfiguriert werden im Server ( eben auch eines auf deinem PC wenn du die Control Win 64 die auf deinem CODESYS PC installiert ist, verwenden willst. Hast du irgendwo einen Raspberry PI, da kannst du das alles auch installieren ( Gateway und SPS) nur mal zum testen.

The one need to be pluged on the CODESYS pc which encrpyt the boot application, the other need to be pluged to your Linux SL System to decrypt the bootapplication.. If you own only one KEY. Hi Alexey, Without having the application it's a little bit difficult to help. But I would suppose that it's a problem in initialization order. When the program starts, first of all the retains are initialized. Then the CANopen Slave stack starts and writes the default (which you configured before in the editor) to the object dictionary. This of course overwrites your retain value. The CANopen slave stack does not know that the object is mapped to a retain variable. There are different possible solutions...

Yes, sure this should work only with runtime key not with softlicense at the moment. Update: with latest Raspberry PI OS (Januar release) for me it works without problems even now with Softlicense.

The drives are slightly different in case the of the behavior, which bit should set homing etc... There are some parameters to set may this helps. See attached picture. ( You need to enable Tools-options->device editor ->'show generic device configuration views' to see this parameter page. Another point to check in which task do you call the mc_home FB?

You may use Control Win PLC with target Visu and connect it as Profinet Controller or device to your Siemens plc. One of the option you have. Sure could bei OPC UA client or server too. BR Edwin

Hallo Patrick, ja ein sudo reboot startet die Runtime komplett neu - ein reset Ursprung usw... macht das nicht, da wird nur die IEC Applikation neu gestartet. Du müsstest mal dein Projekt an Store "meine Frage - Bug report" schicken dann versuchen wir das mal zu reproduzieren ( mit dem Init Code - online Change usw) Wenn das Problem wieder kommt, vor dem reboot über ssh noch cat /tmp/codesyscontrol.log ausführen und paar screenshots machen... da müsste man sehen was genau das Problem war. Grüße ...

A solution for this would be to install the Edge Gateway (armhf from store) and then scan would workd again if you use the Edge Gateway.. beside your solution you have found.
