Hi, Softmotion Robotics does not support tracking in/out to dynamic coordinate systems with relative movements. Is MC_MoveLinearAbsolute an option? Hello, I am currently having issues on CODESYS Control for linux SL with DTH expiring. I have followed several tutorials of creating a proper RT linux. Then I further configured the linux based on this tutorial: https://content.helpme-codesys.com/en/CODESYS%20Control/_rtsl_performance_optimization.html Currently I am getting DHT expires in the communication and I am trying to increase of the priority of the network task which manages the PROFINET network adapter. Iv been working with a Deep Sea Electronics DSE840 for about 6 months. I have a development version of my program working with a state machine and a basic gui interface. I went to implement CAN and suddenly the text on the gui on the controller is much larger than before. I could flash old versions of my project and the text was the correct size, but if i renamed the project file, the text displayed would be large. The visualization in CODESYS always shows the expected size, but not the controller. I did a fresh install of CODESYS and even a new project with only one text box, I cant get the text size on the controller to match what is displayed in codesys to match. Any advice?

The problem (2) with the parent child conflict is resolved with Codesys V3-5 SP19 Patch 2 (Visu 4.4.0.0). The other issues unfortunately not.

tested the servo with the SML_Drive_CAN_Generetic402 driver. Works. SM_Drive_Generetic402 does not work with the driver. How can signals be reassigned?

Hi, a few suggestions on how to tackle the problem: - it might help to increase the cycle time of the ethercat task - increase the value of the ethercat parameter DCInSyncWindow (https://content.helpme-codesys.com/en/libs/IODrvEtherCATDriver/Current/pou-IoDrvEtherCAT/DCInSyncWindow.html) (see attached image) - enable FrameAtTaskStart (https://content.helpme-codesys.com/en/libs/IODrvEtherCATDriver/Current/pou-IoDrvEtherCAT/FrameAtTaskStart.html) in the ethercat master (see attached image) - if the drives can handle the synchronization problems, checking of the synchronization can be deactivated using SMC_Set_ETC_DCSyncSupervision (https://content.helpme-codesys.com/en/libs/SM3_Drive_ETC/Current/SMC_Set_ETC_DCSyncSupervision.html).

Hello everyone, I downloaded the "Example: PLC Chat Net Base Services" example from the Codesys help site to review and try it out. https://content.helpme-codesys.com/en/CODESYS%20Examples/_ex_cds_plc_chat_net_base_services.html However, when I open and compile the example program with SP21 Patch2, I get the strange error message below regarding Visualisation component, and it fails to compile. " [ERROR] visuelems, 4.8.0.0 (system): VisuFbTabControl: C0138: No matching 'FB_Init' method found for instantiation of VisuClientObjectMgr " Are others experiencing the error "C0138: No matching 'FB_Init' method found for instantiation..." when trying to compile example projects created with older versions of Codesys with a later version of the IDE? Hi Gatto, Using version 3.5.21.xx, it is no longer possible to use Modbus function blocks (I make extensive use of these FBs.)as shown in the example. https://content.helpme-codesys.com/en/CODESYS%20Examples/_ex_modbus_example.html The compiler detects one Modbus instance for each instance of the communication FB block. The example program above, although simple, reports 8 Modbus instances when compiled with the latest version. Codesys Support says that you must use fieldbus I/O mapping, but this will result in the loss of the ability to programmatically modify communication parameters. Sandro
