Classic can communication is working OK but when I try open in CANFD hDriver := CL2.FdDriverOpenH(usiNetId := 0, uiNominalBaudrate := 500, uiDataBaudrate := 0, xSupport29Bits := FALSE, ctMessages := 100, peError := ADR(eError) error is returned with value 10226 which is not documented (https://content.helpme-codesys.com/en/libs/CAA%20Can%20Low%20Level%20Extern/Current/CAN-Low-Level/Enums/ERROR.html#error) CAA CanL2 is 3.5.21 version. How the start position can be defined depends on the CompileMode: For File and SMC_CNC_REF: Set the start position input of SMC_NCInterpreter (https://content.helpme-codesys.com/en/libs/SM3_CNC/Current/SM_CNC_POUs/NC2/Interpreter/SMC_NCInterpreter.html) For SMC_OutQueue: * Right-click on the CNC object in the project tree * Select Properties * Select the tab 'CNC' * Set the start position Concerning your second question: If the new set position cannot be reached with the given velocity limit (AXIS_REF_SM3.fSWMaxVelocity), SMC_controlAxisByPos will report bStopIpo and close the 'gap' with the given gap dynamics (SMC_controlAxisByPos.fGap*).

Hi Gatto, Using version 3.5.21.xx, it is no longer possible to use Modbus function blocks (I make extensive use of these FBs.)as shown in the example. https://content.helpme-codesys.com/en/CODESYS%20Examples/_ex_modbus_example.html The compiler detects one Modbus instance for each instance of the communication FB block. The example program above, although simple, reports 8 Modbus instances when compiled with the latest version. Codesys Support says that you must use fieldbus I/O mapping, but this will result in the loss of the ability to programmatically modify communication parameters. Sandro

How large and how complex? It's tough to make a recommendation without additional details. The simplest thing is to just use data arrays (or even arrays of arrays). Hello everyone, I have been given the task to develop I/O drivers for a custom made, Linux based board to allow for Codesys applications to run and control the hardware. I have successfully installed Codesys Control SL for ARM/Linux and tested it with a simple demo application. Now I should start interfacing the runtime to the actual hardware; I should be able to interact with 2 RS485 serial ports, a few GPIOs and an I2C port, all of which already have the corresponding /dev/ interface in the Linux system. I am having trouble understanding how it should be approached. I have found sporadic references that fail to lead to a really comprehensive documentation. For example: The store page (https://store.codesys.com/en/codesys-control-for-linux-arm-sl-1.html#options) mentions a "runtime package" that should allow "Integration of existing C code" and "Usage of local I/Os", which seems exactly what I need to interact with custom peripherals. I have found no further reference to Codesys-C interpop. The Codesys Help page for the runtime package has a page on the "Development of Drivers" (https://content.helpme-codesys.com/en/CODESYS%20Control/rtsllinuxrbpdriverdevelopment.html) that suggests to either "Implement a function block" or "Implement I/O drivers". Those in turn lead to this page (https://forge.codesys.com/drv/io-drivers/doc/Generic/) which describes briefly an XML schema to describe new devices; unfortunately, it doesn't mention what to do with such a description (i.e. how does the runtime know about it) or how it is in any way connected to the actual hardware. Could anyone give me some pointers? I should also mention I have no prior experience with Codesys, so maybe I'm missing an obvious answer.

you need at them moment a download once (for the configuration files generated including addresses) then stop the plc - exchange the persistence file ( without the config file) This will be improved to 3.5.18.6 and 3.5.20.0. (possible then to generate offline bootproject including full persistenmanager files) - this is if you have not 100% the same bootapplication on the devices. In case you copy the whole Application (PLCLogic) directory it should work out of the box - but only with 100% same bootprojects as mentioned above. By the CODESYS Automation Server would help solve this too.

Bonjour, J'essaie de tester cette application : Je suis bloqué sur les 2 chapitres suivants : Pour la toute première configuration de communication : ajout de la passerelle Spécification du canal de communication En suivant le tutoriel, j'ai bien le point vert disant que la passerelle est OK en localhost sur mon PC Ensuite, en choisissant le chemin vers le controleur et en faisant un scan réseau à partir de cette boite de dialogue, ça ne trouve rien et je finis par avoir un message d'erreur disant que la passerelle n'est pas configuré... De plus, Je ne comprends pas pourquoi il faut passer par une pseudo connexion alors que toute l'appli et donc la simu est sur mon PC...
