in that case yes - if you use: https://forge.codesys.com/forge/talk/Runtime/thread/e0f8552007/#p24118 these generic devicedescriptions for BBB
You just need to install the Raspberry PI Package from store, which brings the needed libraries.
sure..
click on the link and then scoll down -> more posts then scoll until you find the screenshot - and there you'll find the project I guss.
Hi, "Read ProcessorTemperature of the Pi and Show cpuinfo in IEC - add in /etc/CODESYSControl_Usr.cfg the [SysProcess] section Output of the executed command will be filled into pszStdOut" https://forge.codesys.com/forge/talk/Runtime/thread/04361f89ec/?limit=25&page=0

on your beaglebone it is: /var/opt/codesys/ check with ls -A -> remove them and disable in cat CODESYSControl_User.cfg [CmpUserMgr] SECURITY.UserMgmtEnforce=NO
GrΓΌΓe Edwin
Hi, maybe this will improve the situation: apt-get install rng-tools echo "HRNGDEVICE=/dev/urandom" | cat >> /etc/default/rng-tools systemctl restart rng-tools
usually you scan the pn devices, no need to add anything. right click to pn controller scan device
I would just do the client - by setting it up in the device tree ( this example was need to do everything in IEC code - as this new easy way to use have not been ready developped) - would say this example should not be needed anymore - at least only for special cases
Seems to be a bug, could you try (run as admin) bcdedit /set testsigning on and then try to load the CmpCXSecUPS

Hi, this must work, did you try with your backup file of the license: https://faq.codesys.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=1310825 This you find here c:\ProgramData\CODESYS\Licenses\XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXX\000000002d676080.WibuCmRau XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXX -> is your license ticket number 000000002d676080 - is your serialnumber of your PI ( you see this number if you do a cat /proc/cpuinfo - or Raspberry PI update tool -> System info

could you add here the CODESYSControl_user.cfg from C:\ProgramData\CODESYS\CODESYSControlRTEV3 ?
remove this files from above screenshot in /var/opt/codesyscontrol/ according which firmware is supported, see this thread here https://forge.codesys.com/forge/talk/Runtime/thread/ea9e581ac6/
a reset original device - right click in the device tree
you just need to apply on your Linux Kernel a realtime rt_preemt patch. (google for it - there are so many advices how to do this in the net) for testing purpose you could try: https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=250927 That's it basically. If you want to have more control what of your iec code (whoch task) is running on which cpu core then additional using Raspberry PI MC (multicore) will improve it.

Linux Arm SL should fit I guess...for iMX6
I think CX20x0 has 128 kB NOVRAM but CX5140 only the 1s USV? Thins means if Windows does a graceful shutdown on switch off, this should work with retain in file(setting in the Control RTE) Could you try this?
Which plc are you using?
yes, this change the Control RTE to Control RTE CX plc type
Hi, select here the device - to see on the right side the online device: If you add cmpCX5000 in the configuration and install the Windows driver , then this IPC is a Control RTE CX device and should fit to your device.
Hi, select here the device - to see on the right side the online device:
if you use CODESYS 32Bit - the simulation is 32Bit
if you use CODESYS 32Bit - the simualtion is 32Bit
Hi, no should work, 1. could you remove the filter - to see plc's in the network? 2. if you use the mouse and point to the RTE CX symbol in the task tray - you'll see in the tooltip which plc type is up and running. I expect that your project and the real running plc does not fit - then you have no plc scan result even if the plc is running.
You should an answer from your plc manufacturer meanwhile.

I fear you need in this case: https://store.codesys.com/en/codesys-support-ticket.html and a request for help for a little asistance to solve it.
hallo, bitte verwende den CODESYS Installer, neu in SP17.
Hi, you need to set: in /etc/CODESYSControl_User.cfg [SysEthernet] Linux.ProtocolFilter=3 DSATagMode=1 DSATagPort=0
not sure if exesive writng on SD card is a good idea - as first step I would write to a network drive if possible/available - usb harddisk is maybe an option too. if this problem then still persists - should be investigated / debugged.
it is not the same: If you execute this: c:\Program Files\CODESYS 3.5.17.10\GatewayPLC\RemoteTargetVisu.exe on your CODESYS PC - then you could connect to any CODESYS plc and show the visualisation. Just give it a try.
no - there are no plans for that - most users seem to be happy with local webvisu in chromium browser as fullscreen. (As me)
Hi, this is just executing a python script - and retrieve the result values in the IEC Code. Not really bluetooth communication as you probably expect to see.
could you check if secureboot is enabled?
(Bugreport)
Hi, basically you need to use a tap device to do it: set up tap0 device /sbin/ip tuntap add tap0 mode tap /sbin/ip link set tap0 up /sbin/ip addr add 192.168.2.1/24 dev tap0 maybe you need to add a route additional echo 1 >/proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward' ...
Hi, check this example here: c:\Users\yourWindowsUsername\CODESYS Control for Raspberry PI\4.1.0.0\Examples\PiFace_FB.project this example should show how TO use a SPI device from your project without having a library. Do not forget to reduce SPI diMaxSpeed, this leads sometimes to problems.

Hi, is the correct gsdml installed? Could we get the plc logging information?
not really, but need probably to be investigated on this device, due other devices do not have this problem. (Would ask Kontron to help to do this)
Hi, please open the SPI_PIFace.library, here you see how it could be realized. (This works for the project too, you need only to add Raspberry Pi Peripherals linrary to your project) Basically it is the method transfer which you need to use for reading and writing: snippet: abyTxBuffer[0] := 16#40 + SHL(byHardwareAddress, 1); //SPI_WRITE_CMD; abyTxBuffer[1] := byPort; abyTxBuffer[2] := byValue; write8 := transfer(pabyTxBuffer:=ADR(abyTxBuffer) , pabyRxBuffer:=ADR(abyRxBuffer) , udiLen:=3 , uiDelayus:=5...
please browse the ethernet settings here:
Just rightclick on your added device try to add SoftMotion or SoftMotion light device... In the ESI - ProfileNo should be 402.
I would use the Automation Server to do the HMI with your smartphone. The PI only need Internet connection, then this is an easy task.
Hi, if it is a DS402 compliant drive you could add by rightclick in the device tree a Softmotion device then Ds402 generic driver is used.Either Softmotion light or Softmotion is then possible - with using plcopen fb's

to which device you try to login, Control Win, Raspberry plc .. ?
on which plc are you try to login?
Are you using latest runtime version? check if your new Pi4 has a new MAC Id, in compare to the other.
please use the 'CODESYS installer' instead of Package Manager...
since 3.5SP17 there is the CODESYS installer...try to install it with that.(the BBB package)
sice SP17 there is the CODESYS installer...try to install it with that.(the BBB package)

These network variables are automatically updated by netvars udp broadcast from the sensor app no need to call anything I guess. Phone and plc need to be in the same network. Therefore check if the phone send out net udp telegrams, that is how I would start to debug.
even if you not have it...you could restore it help.codsys.com - as Ian give links to the faq - Raspberry Pi licensing..or contact the CODESYS support by the store - bug report.
even if you not have it...you could restore it help.codsys.com - Raspberry Pi licensing..or contact the CODESYS support by the store bug report.
you need to check if you see the UDP netvars telegrams from your phone...either on the Control Win pc (wireshark) or on Raspberry Pi (tcpdump)
did you add the device by scanning it ( right click on pn controller)or add manually to the device tree? Best Regards Edwin

Hi, just clean up the content in cmact_licenses... or delete the whole directory. On bootup on the new device this will generated with binding the new hardware ( new empty softcotainer). Thats it. Best Regards Edwin

here they are.. hope this helps
Hi, usually this is covered by the online help or here in the library:
scroll down in the log... is WinPcap installed? https://www.winpcap.org/install/default.htm
scroll down in the log... is WinPcap installed?
..as it told - at the moment not possible there is a bug which need to be fixed
you need to export it from CODESYS device repository..

use this: https://store.codesys.com/de/codesys.html (3.5.17.10 version) or if 3.5.17.0 -> https://faq.codesys.com/display/CDSFAQ/CODESYS+Control+for+Linux+SL

Hi, you mean doing this by EOE on Ethercat? you need to have a Loopback Adapter installed, but the terrible problem is there is an open point for Windows 10 for CODESYS which is not solved , so this does only work on Windows 7 on Control Win.
Hi Jefferson, please contact us by via CODESYS store request - support question - I fear we need to check online. Best Regards Edwin
Hi, for such cases is usually the Paid Support ticket from CODESYS store the right option. Do not forget to give the version info or even better would be to send the project archive to check

Hi, you never need to purchase a support ticket to report bugs and improvements, this is for sure. We try to take care on each support request - and we always try to response a.s.a.p We have asnwered your request - just keep on going in the support case. BR Edwin
hi, as long you do not see the CODESYS driver installed in the windows device manager it will not work. Does Windows revert to the Twincat driver after reboot/bootup (if so disable secure boot) or is it more like the CODESYS cmpt1000 driver fails on installation? Regards Edwin

check if the plc is running.. by update tool info or top in the plc shell. if it is running, install the gateway on pi side and use it to scan your plc... ( add the new gateway by the ip and scan via this gateway)
with SP17 there is a forced UserManagement introduced, either you set a user and password on fist login or you could disable it. depening on your plc system you could add for example for Linux SL in /etc/CODESYSControl_User.cfg https://faq.codesys.com/display/CDSFAQ/Device+UserManagement
Hi should work with cmpEt1000drv. Another option is to use EK1110 and connect the drive to the backplane EtherCAT. Cheers Edwin

ohne Lizenz lΓ€uft die Runtime 2h.
not really, because your device expects to get puls/direction as I understand the schematic. This approach from forge does generate the flow patterns for the amplifier. So to have it easy just order this really cheap devices/amplifiers from the forge project. That's what I want to suggest
Hi, Linux SL / Raspberry PI etc: /etc/CODESYSControl_User.cfg [CmpUserMgr] ;allow usage of CODESYSControl runtime without activated user management (not recommended): SECURITY.UserMgmtEnforce=NO Control RTE: C:\ProgramData\CODESYS\CODESYSControlRTEV3\CODESYSControl_User.cfg [CmpUserMgr] ;allow usage of CODESYSControl runtime without activated user management (not recommended): SECURITY.UserMgmtEnforce=NO Control WIN: c:\ProgramData\CODESYS\CODESYSControlWinV3x64\xxxxxxxx\CODESYSControl.cfg [CmpUserMgr]...
no idea at the moment without a deeper investigation.
